Hatch Cover

Steel watertight and fuel-tight available, with or without flame screen. State diameter desired and coaming height necessary, to give proper height above deck and tie into the structure below deck.

Marine & Construction Supplies carries oil cargo hatches with domed steel covers, and convenient swing-away yoke retention hold down clamping system. Meets USCG requirements.

• Custom-sized to meet your vessel's specific requirements.
• With or without integral, enclosed thermal insulation pocket.
• Able to install flush with deck or raised above deck.
• Square or radius corners
• Securable with Drop Bolts, Flush Bolts, or Raised Dog Handles. Flush dogs operable from above with slotted wrench or socket.
• Can be built of mild steel, Aluminum or Stainless Steel.
• Hatches installed with covers flush with the deck.
• Hatches installed with covers raised above the deck.
• Closure secured by: Drop Bolts; Flush Bolts; Raised Dog Handles; Flush Dog Handles; Single point Quick Action wheel or lever operation below and Flush Hex-head or Tee Slot single point activation on top of cover.
• Coaming height required to tie into ship structure.
• Hatch cover material: mild steel, Aluminum or Stainless Steel.
• Cover hinged or not hinged
• Cover hinged with Spring Balance.
• Blasted to SA 2-1/2 and coated with Hi-built epoxy paints for marine environment and most industrial applications
• Special painting to user specification is available upon request
